Biography:

Marguerite E. (Yealy) Bair, 89 of Littlestown died early Saturday, Feb. 8’th at the home of her daughter Linda Guise in York Springs. She was the wife of Theron M. Bair who died July 1, 2001. Born Jan. 5, 1925 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late J. Edgar and Florence Wallick Yealy.
 
She was Valedictorian of her class in 1941 at Littlestown High School and was a housewife and involved in the family farm. Marguerite is survived by 6 sons, Larry and Bonnie Bair of Littlestown, Dale and Kathleen Bair of Mechanicsburg, Donald and Jean Bair of Gettysburg, David and Barb Bair of Shelby Township, Michigan, Thomas and Deb Bair of Littlestown and Jeff and Sarah Bair of Gettysburg. 3  Daughters, Shirley and Robert Smith and Linda and Paul Guise both of York Springs and Janice and Ed Null of Seven Valleys. . 21 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A brother Dean Yealy of Littlestown. 3 sisters, Eloise Sentz of Littlestown, Jean DeGroft of Hanover and Betty Dols of Midlothian, Va. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Heather Bair, brother Edgar E. ‘Bud” Yealy and a sister, Lois Myers.
 
Marguerite was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Littlestown where she was active in the quilting group. Marguerite enjoyed her family  and was very involved in assuring her family had a quality education.
 
Funeral services will be Wed., Feb 12, 2014 at 11 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown with her pastor, The Rev. John Largent officiating. There will be a viewing 1 hr. prior the service at the church. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Contributions have been asked to go to her church at 665 St. John’s Rd.
