Biography:

Rheta LaRuth “Ruthie” Stavely, 74, of Littlestown, died Fri, Jan 10, at Gettysburg Hospital. She was the widow of J. Francis Riley who died in 1980 and Monroe J. “Chippy” Stavely who died in 1987.  Born Nov 27, 1939 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. & Florence L. (Ohler) LeGore.  Ruthie was a Gettysburg High School graduate and was retired in 1995 from Dal-Tile Corp of Gettysburg as an Administrative Manager.
 
Surviving are son & daughter-in-law, Brian A. Riley & Anna of Frederick, MD; Stepsons:  James Riley of Carlisle and Thomas Stavely of Mechanicsburg; 2 grandchildren:  Paige Riley of Hanover and Dalton Riley of Littlestown; 2 step grandchildren:  Madison & Hunter of Frederick; and sister, Lois Carbaugh of Waynesboro.  Ruthie was predeceased by brother, LaVerne LeGore and sisters:  Louetta Sterner, Lorraine German and Janet Fidler.  Ruthie was a member of Redeemer’s U.C.C., Littlestown, FOE & VFW Aux of Littlestown, Westminster Moose and Hanover Elks.  Ruthie loved to cook and host parties.
 
Funeral Service is Wed, Jan 15, at 12 noon at Little’s Funeral  Home, Littlestown with her pastor, The Rev. George Heberling officiating.  There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends 11 – 12.  Interment is in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Littlestown. Memorials in Ruthie’s name may be made to Redeemer’s U.C.C., 107 E. King St., Littlestown, PA  17340.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com

Brian,Paige and Dalton and family-
Thinking of you during this sad time. Always keep your memories close to your heart; they will comfort you.
