Biography: G. Millard Staub, 93 of Westminster died early Sat Morning Oct 26 at his home. He was the husband of C.Esteen McCracken Staub who died Dec. 18, 2004. He was born July 9, 1920 in Adams County. He worked for Russell Neiderer Masonry in Hanover and from 1968 until 1986, he was a self employed mason. Surviving is a son, Larry M. Staub and wife Karen of Hanover, Grandchildren, George M. Staub, Rebecca Sue Staub and Jenny Schelhaus and companion William Storm. A great granddaughter, Myranda Staub and his best friend Heidi the dachshund, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sisters, Freda Sullivan and Velma Miller and brothers, Paul, James, Earl and Clair Staub.  George was in the Army Air Force during WWII. He loved playing cards and being with family. He was a member of St. Bartholomew’s United Church ELCA of Hanover, life member of the Hanover Elks and American Legion. Funeral Services are Wed. Oct 30 at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home with his pastor, Rev. Steven E. Thomas officiating. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior the service, 10-11 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Bartholomew’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions have been asked to go to the church at 1204 Grand Valley Rd, Hanover PA 17331 or Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster MD 21157.
