Biography:
June L. Greer, 84, formerly of Littlestown, currently of Chambersburg, died early Mon. A.M., Sept 30, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Mount Hope, WV, she was the daughter of the late Tom & Bessie Gentry. June was a Damascus High School graduate of Virginia and had been employed with Jack Tar Togs, Littlestown.
Surviving are 3 sons: Rick Greer of New Oxford; Tony Greer and Jack Greer, both of Chambersburg; 3 grandsons and a great grandson. June was predeceased by 2 sisters: Wilma Yingling and Agnes Wolfe. She enjoyed reading a good book, Penn State football and NASCAR.
Graveside Service is Thurs, Oct 3, at 10 A.M. at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown with Pastor Emilia Florio of Barts Centenary United Methodist Church, Littlestown, officiating. WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF JUNES PASSING. WE ENJOYED MANY SUNDAYS WITH HER ON THE PHONE. DAD ALWAYS WANTED TO TALK TO HER MANY SUNDAYS WHEN I CAME TO SEE HIM. NOW SHE CAN SPEND ETERNITY WITH UNCLE TOM, AUNT BESS, WILMA AND AGNES AND BE WHOLE AGAIN. WE LOVED THEM ALL.
