Biography:

Linda C. Sirk, 70, of Hanover, died Mon., Aug 12, at her home.  She was the wife of Dennis R. “Jack” Sirk of Hanover.   Born Oct 11, 1942 in Waynesburg, she was the daughter of the late David D. & Lucille M. (Granlee) Kern.  Linda was a West Greene High School graduate of Rogersville.  She was employed with Cambridge Rubber Factory and Sunoco Products  and was retired from Aristokraft, Littlestown.
 
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by a son & his wife, David R. & Jill Sirk of Hanover; 3 grandchildren;  Andrew M. Sirk, with whom she resided; Terra Sirk and Michelle Kress; 2 great grandchildren; A.J. Sirk and Logan Kress; 6 sisters:  Wanda Bunch and Dorene Cook, both of Waynesburg; Mary Owens and Orpha “Lou” Sirk, both of Littlestown; Davidine Prout of Washington, PA and Janet Riley of Hopewell, VA.  Linda was predeceased by 2 brothers:  Samuel & Daniel Kern and sister, Darlene Kern.  She attended Freedom Baptist Church, Gettysburg.
 
Memorial Service is Friday, Aug 16, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor David A. Woods of Trinity Baptist Church, Waynesburg, officiating.  There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at the family’s convenience.  Contributions have been asked to go to:  Little’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 155, Littlestown, PA  17340 to help defray funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
