Biography:

Dale L. Doss, 68, of Hanover, died Thurs, Aug 1, at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.  He was the husband of Kaye A. (Miller) Doss for 24 years.  Born Sept 6, 1944 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Robert & Laurie (French) Doss. Dale was a Gettysburg High School graduate and served in the army during the Vietnam War.  He was the manager of S & G Concrete, Finksburg retired in 1997.  Dale was a member of Littlestown FOE, Gettysburg American Legion and FOE and ABATE.  He was the founder and fearless leader of God Bless America Motorcycle Color Guard.  He was also the co-founder of Pete Kuhns’ memorial Christmas for Kids.
 
In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by daughter Marla Kay Schoberg & husband, Chuck of Taneytown; son Jeremy Weaver of Hanover; 2 grandchildren:  Madalyn & Steven Schoberg; and a sister, Bonnie Shaw of Moyock, NC.  Dale was predeceased by a son Duane Doss and a brother Clyde Rebert.
 
A Memorial Celebration of Dale’s life will be Sat., Aug 10, at 12 noon at 87 Kingsdale Rd., Littlestown with The Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating.  Memorials in Dale’s may be sent to God’s Meal Barrel, 413 Baltimore St., Hanover, PA  17331.  Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown is assisting the family with arrangements. Dale Lee you will always be my big brother and I will always remember the memories we've made and the laughs together. I'm sure Mom, Duane, Rick,Clydie and Kelly have caught up with you by now. We will keep your memory alive here as the family and friends you've left behind. until we are together again, Ride free Dale with the wings of angels. I love you.
