Biography:
Margaret A Stonesifer, 61 of Littlestown died early AM Sunday April 14 at the Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Foster A. “Stoney” Stonesifer for 41 yrs. Born April 2, 1952 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Stephen B and Janet E Sullivan Weaver Sr. She was a housewife and avid quilter. Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, Terry “Hank” Stonesifer and wife Wanda , Kerry “Jake” Stonesifer and wife Angela and Benjamin “Ben” Stonesifer all of Littlestown. Grandchildren, Trent A.. Stonesifer, Sara M Stonesifer and Isaac C. Stonesifer. Brothers, Stephen B. Weaver Jr. of Hanover and Donald R. Weaver of Florida. Sisters, Vivian Weaver of Virginia, Elaine Leppo of Littlestown and Julia White of Texas. She was predeceased by a brother William G. Weaver. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday April 19 at 1 PM at Christ UCC , Christ Church Rd. Littlestown with Rev. Craig E. Arentz officiating. There will be no viewing. Inurnment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Contributions have been asked to go to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.littlesfh.com.

Peggy and I are heartbroken at the loss of our dear, jovial cousin. Anytime one needed a good laugh to lift their spirits, all they had to do was to get in touch with Peggy. If she couldn't produce a hearty chuckle in them, no one could. She'll be missed each and every year at the reunion and throughout time. Our prayers are with you and yours, Stoney. To Stoney and his family....so sorry for the passing of your wife and the children's mother, Peggy....as her cousin, I remember visiting with them in Hanover as a child...I hung around with both Peggy & Judy....always had a lot of fun together and Peggy always was the jovial one...always had me laughing...hope you find great solace in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - 18 promises at the Second Coming of Christ - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. To Stoney and the families of dear cousin Peggy, my prayers and condolences are with you on this great loss. Peggy was my cheerful cousin. The few times I recall of gatherings from childhood Peggy was the happy,spirited one! Always with a wide smile upon greetings, and her quick comebacks followed by a chuckle. Over the yrs I\\\'d see her at the Weaver reunions and again, that same sweet disposition was the essence of her personality on display. May God bless her spirit as she rests in peace with the angels in heaven.

I didn't know the deceased, but I am a close friend of her niece, Tammy Webb, who loved her aunt very much. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to Tammy, herself a gift above measure, her loving family and all those who were touched by the life of Margaret Stonesifer. Today, I mourn with you, but with the blessed hope that one day we, too, will rejoice together.
