Sandra S. Parsons, 75, of Littlestown, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 7, 2013.  She was born in Gaithersburg, MD on Sept 14, 1937.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Parsons of Littlestown and her parents, William & Helen (Kemp) Small of Gaithersburg .  Sandra was a retired real estate agent, homemaker and farmer.  She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend. Sandra especially enjoyed her role as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning, sewing and reading. 

Sandra is survived by  her daughter, Cindy Wilson and finance, Jesse Grove of Aaronsburg; her son Fredric Parsons and wife, Sandra McMillian Parsons of Silver Spring, MD; her son David Parsons and wife, Carole of Lawrenceburg, TN and daughter Helen “Amy” Lake and husband, Tim of Centre Hall.  She is also survived by a brother Charles Small and wife Caroline of Durwood, MD and a sister Wilma Small of France.  Sandra is survived by 12 grandchildren:  Zachary and Jacob Wilson, Kate Ciarrocchi, Joey and Christopher Mann, Matthew Burgoon, Matthew, Timothy, Michael and Stephen Parsons, and Emma & Anna Lake;  6 great grandchildren:  McKenzie Wilson, Claire Ciarrocchi, Dylan, Jared & Emma Burgoon and Macy Amiegh with 2 new babies due this year.

 

Funeral Service is Thurs., April 11, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Timothy J. Kielley of New Hope Faith Community Church, Littlestown, officiating.  Viewing is Wed 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.  Memorials in Sandra’s name may be sent to AseraCare Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd., York, PA  17404.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
