Biography:

Dorothy Marie Roger, 83, formerly of Littlestown, died Tues., March 5, at The Brethren Home, New Oxford. She was the wife of Lawrence Joseph Roger, also of The Brethren Home. Born March 3, 1930 in Nasonville, RI, she was the daughter of the late Francis & Margurite (Capistron) Leduc. Years ago, Dorothy had been employed with Stillwater Worsted Textiles in Nasonville and also with Ben Franklin of Cockeysville, MD. For most of her working years, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown.
 
In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by 3 sons: Kevin J. Roger of Hanover; Dale P. Roger & wife, Kitson of Conway, AR; Glenn F. Roger & wife, Patricia, of Towson, MD; 2 daughters: Cheryl A. Hoehn & husband, Dale, of Taneytown, MD; Karen M. Roger of Littlestown; 2 grandsons: Chris Hoehn & wife, Janette; Thomas Roger; 4 granddaughters: Ashley Morrell & husband, Cliff; Emma & Sarah Roger; Heather Paxton & husband, Wes; 3 great grandchildren: Chloe, Emily & Nicholas Paxton and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by a brother, Leo Leduc and 2 sisters: Lucille Muse and Lorraine Mulligan.
 
Mass of Christian Burial is Sat., March 9, at 11 A.M. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown, with The Rev. James M. Sterner Celebrant. Viewing is Friday 6 - 8 P.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown. Interment is in the parish cemetery. Memorials in Dorothy's name may be sent to her church at 29 S.
