"Grandma Mayers" is what my sister called her. Our grandmother, Doris Plunkert, was one of her best friends, and we had lots of great times together when we were growing up. Especially that trip to Colonial Williamsburg. What a truly wonderful, loving, thoughtful lady she was. She will be missed, but the memories and the laughter live on.

Sincere condolences to Susan, Jane and Wayne. We grew up together on Prince St, back in the 'good old days'. Carlean was always there for the neighborhood kids, then for all the girls she lead thru Brownies and Girl Scouts. I especially remember running for Carlean's help when my sister cut her foot. Then, many years later, my daughter became her neighbor and found out what the word really means. She was greatly loved and will be missed.
