We were saddened to hear of Irene's passing. Irene never changed from the time that I as a child can remember seeing her at family functions. Maybe a picnic at her house, or at Grandma and Grandpas for Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings. She always made me feel that she was happy to see me and that she was glad that I was there. With her love she made me know that I was family. As my family grew, she always asked how each of my children were doing and what they were up to. She cared. Irene always wanted to make us smile by sharing something that she remembered being funny in either our past or in her past. Always being encouraging.
Now that she has passed from this life to her new heavenly life, I am again encouraged to know that she along with her heavenly family waits for us to share in the Glory she has already experienced. That will be a happy reunion.
