Biography: Logan Matthew Alexander of Littlestown, PA, 25, passed into God’s eternal rest at Sinai Hospital 8/7/24 at 4:18am surrounded by his family.
Logan was a devoted partner to Kaylah Mercer, loving father to Teagan and Grayson, amazing brother to Brady and Kelsie Alexander, and awesome son to Matt and Dana Alexander. Grandson to Mike and Barb Alexander and Steve and Wanda Shanebrook. And Great Grandson to Joan Shanebrook.
He will be missed greatly by his loving family and friends. His memory will live on forever through the honor we give him in our daily lives.
To remember Logan’s sense of humor, stubbornness, and strong independence will be easy. To never forget his passion, caring creative nature, and HUGE heart will be more difficult as he hid these so well, so often, for so many but NO doubt he embodied these qualities, greatly.
Logan struggled with his mental health and addiction which is a horrible disease and ultimately is what took Logan from us.
As we remember the good, the bad, and the ugly: what will always stand out about Logan is the light he was to this world despite his faults and failures. He could light up a room with his smile and get you laughing with his quick unfiltered wit in minutes. He was such a gracious individual rooting for anyone and everyone to do well in their lives, especially his brother and sister. They meant the world to Logan.
25 years young, he forever left his mark in our hearts and embodied the full essence of the necessity for unconditional love.
He taught us through his self discovery struggles, that a humans’ greatest need is to be loved unconditionally. Loved without seeing, pointing out, and rehashing every flaw and failure.
Logan taught us the power of our view of an individual and the love we have for them mattered despite their choices or actions. We all loved Logan with all our hearts with boundaries but without conditions. He was truly amazing.
To those of you that struggle, mentally or with addictions of any type,, which is all of us at times in our lives ,YOU are loved ,YOU are valued, NO matter what!
Let Logan’s life live on. Let Logan’s heart live on. Let Logan’s light shine through you as you LOVE . We encourage you to LOVE , all, without conditions and receive that love in return, because it really matters.
A service to celebrate the life of Logan Alexander will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 11AM at Little’s Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon following the service at The Markets at Hanover, 1649 Broadway, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking a donation be made to Teagan Alexander’s college fund in honor of her daddy, Logan. Please VENMO @Matt-Alexander-82 or a check written to Matt Alexander C/O of Teagan Alexander.
