Biography: Betty Cashman Little, 96, a longtime resident of Carroll County, passed away peacefully on January 29 at her home.  Born December 9, 1925 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jessie (Roser) Cashman.  Betty graduated from Taneytown High School.  She was employed by Glenn L. Martin in Middle River just outside Baltimore for 13 years and then worked for Black and Decker in Hampstead for 23 years.  She also worked part-time for 9 years at Keystone Cabinets in Littlestown, PA.  She enjoyed traveling and working with her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Richard, and sisters, Helen Halter, Margie Flickinger and Alice Crowl.  She is survived by her nephew and nieces, Fred Halter of Miami, FL; Susan (Fred) Vaughn of Germantown, MD; and Sharon (Bob) Kope of West Chester, PA.  She is also survived by her great-nephews and great-nieces, Nathan (Christine) Vaughn of Gaithersburg, MD; Jennifer (Jason) Sellers of Montgomery Village, MD; Tiffany Vaughn of Silver Springs, MD; Amber (David) Duckett of Frederick, MD; Keven (Rachel) Douglas of Anchorage, AK; and Tim Douglas of Aston, PA; as well as many loving and devoted friends.

Funeral Service is Wednesday, Feb 2, at 11 A.M.  at Little's Funeral Home, LIttlestown with Vicar Cody Danner officiating. There will be no Viewing.  She will be buried next to her husband in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Taneytown. Memorials in Betty's name may be sent to the charity of one's choice.  Online condolences may be shared on
